Ancient Trekking Trips trought the Mountains Range
(Mule drivers, S. XIX Romantic Trips, etc)
Before the term Trekking was invented for the long journeys on foot of adventurous athletes, all over the world.
Our mountain ranges were crossed by authentic adventurers and survivors who transported each day and night on their mules, pulled by them, the products of the land and sea that were exchanged in the then flourishing Ronda, and its mountainous area.
While the hard-working muleteers were during that time the messengers and merchants who with their intense activity, knowledge and taking advantage of the natural wisdom that their pack animals demonstrated to open the fastest and safest paths and trails in our mountains.
They were not the only ones who walked these paths, roads, ravines which also are connected with the Field of Gibraltar under the feet of romantic travelers of the S. XIX, bandits, smugglers, coalmen, miners and ranchers.
